After being laid off from my corporate job, I started Fierce Ass Boss to connect with women who had left corporate America to chart their own paths. Take listen it was BAD!!!

April 2019

After a few weeks of trying to do it all on my own I launched Blk Pod Collective as a simple Instagram page because I had no clue what I was doing and felt isolated as a solo podcaster. I needed to connect with others in the space so we could lean on each other for support.

June 2020

Blk Pod Festival came to life because I got tired of going to podcast conferences and not making real connections or gaining tangible advice to help me on my podcasts journey.

February 2021

After years of research and supporting a community of over 200 podcasters for 2 years, I decided to take a leap of faith and do this full time and launched Adode Media to help businesses and creatives effectively manage all elements of their podcast.

Who Am I?

I am an Atlanta-based podcast producer that is wildly passionate about community building and helping people tell their story. I help people understand the podcast landscape by removing the fluff and providing them with actionable resources to start, grow, and effectively manage their podcast.

Before pursuing my passion for podcasting, I was passionately planning and managing events. It started back in college where I was on the programming board planning homecoming, fast forward to planning weddings where I broke into events, and then scaling all the way to event management. This all leads up to me now for the past 3 years busy building Blk Pod Collective, a thriving community for Black podcasters starting, growing, and sustaining they're own podcasts.

Now I’m taking all my years of expertise and rolling it into one amazing opportunity to serve. This is really your one-stop resource for those wanting to break into the podcast sphere. I offer courses for those looking to start and grow their podcast, I serve as an event consultant/strategist for those looking to host a podcast event, and I speak at conferences about the power of podcasting and the diversity needed within the industry.

My goal is to help you share your story and voice with the audience that needs it most. I am passionate about bringing diversity to the podcast industry. I know with the right tools and opportunities anyone can impactfully share their story.
